We invite you to join us for an afternoon/evening of poetry, music, and community as we honor the struggle for Palestinian liberation, learn about ways to plug into local and national organizing efforts to build on the groundswell of solidarity with the Palestinian freedom movement, and directly support the people of Gaza.
As we enter a year of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and mourn the lives of our Palestinian family, community and loved ones, the people across all of historic Palestine– from Gaza to the West Bank – continue to rise up in the face of unprecedented Israeli settler violence backed by the US. All the while, the people of the Bay and across the US have been doing everything in our power, inside the belly of the beast, to demand a ceasefire and an end to US aid for apartheid Israel. We will gather in support of the steadfastness, dignity and self-determination of the Palestinian people, and all people across the Arab world, in defiance of the inhumanity of settler colonialism and US imperialism. This event will be grounded in the love we have for our people and our community, for it is through this love that we continue to forge ahead.

This event is hosted by the Arab Resource and Organizing Center, a Palestinian-led grassroots organization that serves poor and working class Arabs and Muslims across the San Francisco Bay Area, while organizing to overturn racism, forced migration, and militarism. We build power for our people by providing critical legal support and social services while organizing our community around issues of justice and equity. This is our 17th year.
